Lucerne Cliff Path Private Guided Trip has been designed to show you the beauty of Lake Lucerne’s shore with its varied landscape, rolling hills, and small boat caves. Hike on an easy, wide, shade-covered, cliffside mountain footpath on a new “Educational Trail” with visuals communicating the region’s sustainability, ecological and geographical features, and history.
Your guide will pick you up at 8:30 am at your hotel in Lucerne. If you’re not staying in Lucerne, you will meet them at the Lucerne Torbogen.
After a 30 minute ride on train and bus, you will find yourself in the countryside.
Hike on an easy, wide cliffside mountain footpath on a “Educational Trail” with visuals communicating the region’s ecological and geographical features and history.
Your guide will be happy to share Lucerne’s elegant past through the eras from belle-epoque to the roaring twenties and elegant fifties, when Switzerland became a popular destination for the famous and rich of the era. Learn who had a house here, who enjoyed their summer holidays around Lake Lucerne and who’s still to be seen from time to time strolling among the beautiful Swiss nature.
Enjoy Europe’s highest & fastest outdoor elevator as you zoom up the 300 ft / 150 m Hammetschwand Lift to the 1128 m/3500 ft mountaintop restaurant.
